Before you arrive

HOUSE RULES

  • Please be considerate with your water usage as this property uses hauled water. The water is clean and safe to drink.
  • No Smoking allowed.
  • Please no parties, let us know if any additional guests will be coming or visiting.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Please be considerate of other guests by keeping your noise down.
    Quiet hours are 9pm-8am
  • No fires.

GETTING HERE

PARKING INFO

  • There are parking spaces available for each cabin.
  • The concrete pad is reserved for Cabin 6 as it is an ADA accessibility cabin.
  • Two Electric Vehicle (EV) spots are available for $10/day each. Book your spot now to ensure charging for your entire stay.

Cancellation Policy

  • 100% Refund up to 14 days before arrival​
  • 50% Refund up to 7 days before arrival

We’re located in northern Arizona, at high elevation.

Winters are cold and snow is common between November and March. Please check road conditions before driving.

During your stay

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

CHECK IN:

From 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Use the keypad to enter your assigned cabin. A 4-digit user code will be emailed before check in.

 

CHECK OUT:

Before 10am on the day your booking ends.

Before you leave, please:

  • Take all trash to the outside bins located at the front of the property near the welcome sign

  • Wash any used dishes

  • Check to make sure you have all your belongings

  • Text our cleaner at 928.310.6422 with your cabin number when you have departed.

EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT

  • If you would like an early check in or late check out, please message the day of your stay and we can let you know if it will be possible. 

HOW TO USE THE DOOR KEYPAD/LOCK

TO UNLOCK:

  • Enter the 4-digit user code emailed to you before check in, you will see a blue check indicating the door is unlocked.

TO LOCK:

  • Close the door and push the lock button on the right bottom corner.

HOW TO USE THE PULLOUT BED

TO OPEN:

  1. To use the pullout bed, lift the boat coffee table by the handles and carefully move it into the kitchen area.
  2. Remove pillows from the couch.
  3. Gently lift the bottom of the front of the couch and pull straight OUT not up as that can pull the bed off the track. It should slide straight forward until it reaches the tv console.
  4. Flip the cushions over and add the back cushions to the extra space. Linens are found in the bedroom dresser drawers.

TO CLOSE:

  1. Remove cushions, gently lift and slide back into place, do not pull up. Make sure to push until you hear it click into place.

HOW TO USE THE THERMOSTAT

There is heating and air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. There are thermostats located on the wall in both rooms.

  1. Press the power button.
  2. The three-arrow button can change to snowflake for cooling and sunshine for heat.
  3. Use the up down buttons to adjust temperature.

HOW TO USE THE QR CODE TOUR

You will find leather QR Codes located in various places throughout the cabin. We invite you to take our digital tour and dive into the history of the area.

The Codes are placed near items that relate to the information provided. For example, there is a QR Code by the camera in the bedroom which gives you information about the Kolb Brothers and their photography of the Grand Canyon in the early 1900s.

  1. To access the digital tour, you will need a QR Code reader on your phone.
  2. Open the QR Code reader app and hold your device over the Code so it is clearly visible within your phone’s screen. The phone will automatically scan the code. Some may have you press a button to snap a picture of the Code. Once it buffers, you will be taken to our website where the pertaining information can be found.

WHERE TO FIND THE ESSENTIALS

  • The garbage bin is located under the kitchen sink along with paper towels. Kitchen cabinets have all dishes, utensils, pitcher, toaster, and electric frying pan.
  • Soaps and shampoos are in the labeled brown bottles by the sinks and in the shower.
  • The bathroom has extra toilet paper, towels, hair dryer, and hangers.
  • The bedroom dresser drawers have extra pillows, sheets, and blanket for pullout couch.
  • The television console has games and remote controls.

COOKING SET UP

  • There is a microwave, electric frying pan, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker available for use in each cabin.

OUTDOOR COMMON AREA

  • There are two gas grills and a picnic table available for guest use.

  • We also have two gas firepits and seating for guests to enjoy.

Lounge (Laundry & Ice)

  • Guests have access to the lounge area using a door code provided at check-in. There are washers, dryers, detergent, and dryer sheets available to guests. Payment can be made with quarters or through your phone by using the Pay Range App.
